Audio tribe magazine is a psychedelic trance based magazine to be distributed globally throughout Australia, New Zealand, Europe, South America, India and Japan. Unlike other psytrance magazines that feature mainly promotional material of events, record labels/ artists and CD's we focus on the life styles of dance culture from fashion, health and wellbeing, art, digital design and animation, music production, photography and of course the music its self and party's.
Music production - this magazine is the collective project of PsyPneumatix records and Psy-tearoa in New Zealand many of the key contributors are established music producers from PsyPneumatix and other well known international artists and record labels associated with the magazine all willing to share the tips and secrets. Through our tutorials we give our readers tips on how to get the exact types of sounds they are after and learn from the artists they are inspired by the right way to go about learning what they need to produce psychedelic trance and other subgenres like full on, progressive, dark, funky, chill, breaks and electro. Our aim is to create an awareness of the many products and techniques we use to create this style of music.
Health and well being - although this may not sound like its relevant to dance culture it is and we will be the first free trance magazine to focus in this area further making us a more diverse and valuable magazine to our readers. This section, we feel is just as important as the music. People can be very unaware of the damage they do to their body's over long term excessive drug and alcohol abuse which makes up such a large part of dance culture.
Many of the health problems associated with the dance culture are as a result of this partnered with extremely poor/irregular sleeping patterns and poor diet. This section will focus on the risks and effects of drugs, the chemicals that are in them and how they affect the body. What to do when things go wrong for either ones self, a friend or a total stranger. What foods, vitamins, medications are necessary and most beneficial in recovering from the damage done by excessive partying. The contributors to this section will consist of dieticians, natural medicine practitioners, first aid workers that are at large events required by law to attend and other respected names in various medical fields.
Music - we will cover most genres of music within trance culture mainly full-on trance with news, reviews and the typical content found in a magazine of this kind.
Articles of interest will be the future of the music industry, online music or music related web sites. Interviews with the biggest names in the industry from label owners to artists and the not so well known up and comers.
Wright ups on festivals from around the world and the people that make them happen. From the sound, decor and lighting to the promoter that brings all these elements together to create the amazing dance experiences that bring so much joy to the tens of thousands of people that come to their events.
Digital Art & photography - Along with the psychedelic music there is the art and design that goes with it. Each issue will take a look at the artists, graphic designers and photographers that create such mind-bending and beautiful works of art along with tutorials tips and hints.

To cover music scenes we need people to look after 2 sections we have yet to include, progressive/electro and dark night time music.
We do pay for contributions for people on the team as there is quite a bit of responsibility looking after a section and filling it with content each month so that’s some incentive.
